First off, we would like to thank all of our customers for adhering to physical distancing in the yard. Thank you for doing your part to keep each other safe so we can all get back on the water with our health intact! We have a couple of updates for you since our last message…
New Boat Storage Hours/Process
From now on the storage yard will not be open or accessible to customers from 8am-4pm on weekdays, unless for launch purposes. Instead customers are welcome to come down and work on their boats outside of our normal office hours (after work and on weekends):
- Monday to Friday – 4pm to 8pm
- Saturdays and Sundays – 8am to 8pm
Please continue to email [email protected] to keep us apprised of your plans to visit 210 Hillyard (when, and for how long), but you no longer need to wait for confirmation on our end. We will ensure your pass card is enabled outside of office hours to enter the yard, so long as you let us know when you plan on coming down.
Launch Schedule in Progress
We sent out the launch schedule to customers this week, so please look for it in your inbox and let us know if you have any questions about the details. (If you don’t see it, check your junk folder and be sure to whitelist [email protected].) We’ve included physical distancing guidelines for the launch process as part of the update. Please follow all of the health and safety procedures we’ve provided while onsite.
For our summer slip customers, you will be receiving your slip invoices shortly. Please ensure your slip fees are paid on or prior to launch. The 2020 rates can be found here: http://www.harbourwest.ca/services/rates/

Harbour West Marina Docks & Construction
Down at the docks, the main walkway has been connected and it looks great! We’re working very hard with the City to ensure water and electrical are installed over the next week and operational for our June 1 open. Washrooms will unfortunately not be available until June 8, as we work to get them cleaned and updated, so please use your facilities onboard until then.
The HWM fuel dock will be open June 1 for both fueling and pump-out purposes. Please call 905-525-4330, ext. 230 ahead of time to arrange a time for service.
On Monday, May 25, we will also share instructions for new COVID-19 dock protocol via email and on the blog to keep everyone safe this summer. We welcome questions and comments, and we’ll be here to answer you.
