With Premier Ford’s announcement this afternoon, Hamilton is heading back into grey-lockdown as of Monday. In order to comply with the grey-zone framework, we will need to keep bathrooms off limits and the office facilities closed (please call, do not visit the window). However, we will be keeping indoor storage and the yard open to HWM customers and contractors only. When on the premises you must wear a mask at all times, even on your own boat.
Anyone looking to visit HWM storage facilities, must sign a COVID-19 Screening Form in advance if you haven’t already done so. You must also pass the self-screening requirements which include: showing no signs/symptoms of COVID-19, not having travelled outside of Canada in the past 14 days, and having no contact with a confirmed or probable case of COVID-19 or variants.
Gate cards will be activated by marina staff once a completed form has been received. Received forms will be processed during business hours of Monday to Friday, 8am to 4pm.
When you are in the yard or indoor storage facility
Visitors will be required to follow all of the COVID safety precautions including…
- Keeping your mask on at ALL TIMES, and sanitizing your hands often.
- Keeping a distance of 6 ft (2 m) away from others – do not meet in groups or congregate.
- Head directly to your vessel upon entering and when your check/work is complete, exit to allow others the opportunity to enter.
Storage access hours will remain the same: 8am to 8pm, Monday to Sunday. We strongly recommend that you only visit the yard if it is absolutely necessary. Please continue to self monitor and only come down to Hillyard if you really need to! Thank you in advance for your continued cooperation.
