Great news, our gas shack has arrived! The City’s contractor will be hooking it up to hydro and water services over the next few days. Once those services are in, the service providers can start connecting the fuel pumps and pump-out machine. Our fuel pumps and tanks are set to be delivered on Monday, July 12, and connected to the hydro service shortly after. In the meantime, please take care if filling your boat with gas cans.
We have all been anxiously awaiting the opening of our fuel dock this season. In an effort to accommodate as many of our boaters as possible, we will be extending the fuel dock hours from 8 am to 8 pm, right up to July 31. We want to get everyone gassed up, pumped out, and back to cruising on the water!
The washrooms on our east docks are close to opening too. The City has had repairs done and are completing a final check on the lines. Once the lines are confirmed to be clear for use, the pumping station can be turned on.
