Harbour West Marina COVID-19 Member Rules and Protocols Declaration

This declaration must be completed prior to visiting Harbour West Marina. Failure to do so prior will result in denial of access to the marina.

Harbour West Marina appreciates and expects your cooperation to allow the management of the marina to open the docks for all to enjoy. Harbour West Marina is permitting access to the marina based on the assurances members make to the the marina and to each other in this document. Accordingly, any false statements could result in legal liability to the slip holder. Further, you agree to observe and fully abide by all rules and regulations prescribed by the marina. Any failure in this regard may result in termination of your slip agreement.

As you are all aware, the virus can be transmitted by asymptomatic people and accordingly the statements made by customers contained in this document cannot provide certainty that the virus will not be transmitted. Harbour West Marina is taking prudent steps to impose and enforce appropriate protocols to keep members safe, but there can be no assurance that the virus will not be contracted by slip holders. This is a risk that each slip holder must assess themselves, and if you choose to dock, you understand that there is a risk of either contracting the virus or transmitting it to others.

By completing and submitting this declaration you agree to the following.


    I hereby declare that I or anyone in my household has not experienced any cold or flu-like symptoms in the last 14 days (to include fever, cough, sore throat, respiratory illness, difficulty breathing). If I or anyone in my household experience any cold or flu-like symptoms after submitting this declaration, I will then not visit Harbour West Marina or its facilities for a minimum period of 14 days after the cold or flu-like symptoms have completely gone away. This agreement will remain in effect until the Harbour West Marina (Hamilton-Oshawa Port Authority) declare the requirements in this declaration are no longer in effect.


    I hereby declare that I or any member of my household have not traveled to or had a lay-over in any country outside Canada in the past 14 days. If I or anyone in my household travel to any country outside Canada after submitting this declaration, I will then not visit Harbour West Marina or its facilities for a minimum period of 14 days after the date of return to Canada. This agreement will remain in effect until the staff at Harbour West Marina declare the requirements in this declaration are no longer in effect.


    I have read and understand the "HARBOUR WEST MARINA COVID-19 RULES AND PROTOCOLS DOCUMENT" as communicated by Harbour West Marina and accept and waive any right to marina privileges should I not comply with these policies.
