Extended Closure of Harbour West Marina

In line with recent provincial announcements, Harbour West Marina will observe the extended shut down for recreational and non-essential businesses starting today in an effort to contain the spread of COVID-19. We plan to reopen on April 20th, but until then, our offices, launch and storage facilities will be closed in the interest of safety.

While this is disappointing, both your personal well-being and the entire community’s is our primary concern right now. Please continue to check in with us to discuss what measures we are taking, and to let us know how you are managing throughout this situation. Launch Schedule
As a result of the mitigation measures, we are now targeting May 4th to begin the launch process and our boating season, contingent on the province’s emergency orders being lifted. Please note that we will be incorporating physical distancing into our procedures once we are back in operation.

For those of you who have reached out to myself or any of the HWM staff, your understanding and cooperation has been deeply appreciated, and shows what a strong boating community we have. We will continue to work with everyone towards a safe and healthy boating season this year!

For boating customers, there will be more updates coming out next week regarding construction and the work being done down by the docks.

Thank you for your patience during this unprecedented time, and we look forward to launching into a great summer out on the water.

Sincerely,

Kyle Auton
Marina Manager
