Fuel Dock
The fuel dock hours this season are 10am to 6pm / 7 days a week. Come visit us for premium gasoline, diesel, pump outs, and ice. The phone number for the fuel dock is 905-541-0167.
Social Media Accounts
We are thrilled to announce that HWM has entered the world of social media! Please follow us on Instagram @HWMhamilton and Facebook @HWMhamilton. Check there for news, event information, promotions, and posts about the HWM community and daily shenanigans of boating life. We welcome contributions from boaters. If you have a photo or video you would like to share, please email it to [email protected] or tag us.
Boater Appreciation Events
The first Boater Appreciation Event is on Friday, July 10. The party theme is the World Cup, as the finals will only be a week away! Please wear your favourite football/soccer jersey, or if not a soccer fan, then any sports jersey or Canadian colours will do. Be prepared for trivia, prizes, live music, food & drinks, and the very best of company.
The second event is on Friday, August 21. We are thrilled to be hosting our second annual tropical party. That means floral printed attire is highly advised. Leave Canada and enter a world of palm trees and sea breezes for a night of colourful fun!

BBQs, kids’ life jackets, burgees & more!
Barbecues and picnic tables are ready and waiting for use! Please note that there is propane recycling available outside of the East Dock Entrance for one pound propane canisters. Children’s life jackets are also available on both docks. Everyone is welcome to borrow them as long as they are returned in good condition. Safety first! Ask any staff member for a free HWM burgee and it is yours. HWM t-shirts are also for sale for $29.95.
Meet the Staff
Get to know the old and new fluorescents on the docks. Call them over and they will always be happy to assist you – from wi-fi passwords to docking to putting spiders to rest, they help with it all!
Ali (she/her) – Marina Office Administrator
Ali’s favourite part of the job is building relationships with our boaters! Fun fact, she is a regular concert go-er – and Nickelback was one of the best shows. Her favourite animals are adorably fierce otters. And if she had a superpower, it would be flying so she could avoid ever travelling in an airplane again – not her favourite experience.
Avery (she/her) – Marina Attendant
Avery’s favourite part of the job is getting 10,000 steps in by the first hour and exploring the docks. Her favourite colour is pink, favourite movie is The Perks of Being a Wallflower, and her go-to karaoke song is Come on Eileen. If she had a superpower, it would be to talk to animals.
Diederik (he/him) – Dockmaster
Dutch Diederik is the Dockmaster. His favourite part of the job is working with people, both staff and boaters. Fun fact, he used to be a regular sky diver. His favourite animal is a horse, favourite colour is navy blue, and favourite food is steak and fries. And his speciality skill is providing the fastest pump out in the Hamilton, Halton, GTA, and Niagara area!
Dylan (he/him) – Marina Attendant
Dylan or Juice’s favourite part of the job is being outside and working in a positive environment. Fun fact, he has a gecko named Fred. His favourite sport is hockey, favourite food is pub-style, and he’s a car-guy (but likes boats too). If he had a superpower, it would be to wield the Infinity Gauntlet and have infinite possibilities!
Fiona (she/her) – Marina Attendant
Fiona or Fi Fi’s favourite part of the job is being outdoors even though it leaves her with an impressive farmer’s tan. Fun fact, Fiona can juggle – so please try to convince her to perform at our next boater event! Her favourite animal is a hippo, and her favourite artists are Drake and Taylor Swift.
Jordan (she/her) – Marina Attendant
Jordan or Jo-Jo loves greeting people at the fuel dock and hearing boater’s stories of adventures and mayhem. Fun fact, one of her hobbies is wakeboarding. Her favourite animal is a penguin, and her favourite show is Dead to Me. She’s extremely friendly so please feel free to stop her for a quick chat!
Kyle (he/him) – Marina Attendant
Kyle or Flakes loves being near the water and fueling powerboats. Kyle’s favourite sport is football (soccer), his go-to karaoke song is Diamonds by Rihanna, and his favourite movies are Interstellar and Inception. If Kyle could be any superhero, he would be Iron Man – so he’s banking his marina wages on his path to becoming a billionaire!
Lilly (she/her) – Marina Attendant
Lilly’s favourite part of the job is planning boating events and seeing boaters enjoy themselves! Fun fact, she has sung in a choir her whole life and plans to never stop. Her favourite movies are the Star Wars and Lord of the Rings franchises and her favourite hobby is reading. She is very approachable but be warned that she knows too many boating dad jokes.
Mea (she/her) – Marina Attendant
Mea loves her coworkers and the special team we have at Harbour West. Her favourite food is tacos with beef, cheese, lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream, and red sauce (aka salsa). Animal-wise, she cannot get enough of turtles. If she could have a superpower, it would be teleportation, so that she never misses any memory-making events on or off the docks.
Nathan (he/him) – Marina Attendant
Newbie Nathan enjoys maintaining a clean environment for all the boaters. Outside of work, he’s a regular runner. His favourite food is lobster, and his favourite animal (not to eat) is a sloth – but we promise he can move fast and get the job done! He is excited to meet you all so please introduce yourself if you spot a tall man in yellow.
Rory (he/him) – Marina Manager
Rory loves this entire business; the people, the water, being surrounded by boats, and everything that comes along with it. His favourite animal is a cocker spaniel, and his favourite food is ice cream. If he had a superpower, it would be to create the perfect boating weather, controlling both the wind and temperature. This would include making sure we don’t have another long, cold winter!
